About
Driven | Curious | Passionate
Hi, I'm Isaiah...
I’m a Ph.D. student studying mechanical engineering at The University of Akron. My research focuses on lightweight materials for aerospace systems, which play a vital role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. I present new insight into the behavior of these materials using concepts from nature and artificial intelligence so that they can be used safely and effectively.
I’m fascinated by entrepreneurship and the idea of solving problems with technology. I have a hardwired desire to be better and do better and the strongest ambition to help others. I'm passionate about innovation and driven by impact. This passion has led me to work on projects in medicine and academia, with the goal of turning the ideas into startups.

I have been fortunate enough to meet some extraordinary people who share similar passions along my journey. I believe that competition makes us faster, but collaboration makes us better. I look forward to the challenges that lay ahead in my career and welcome the opportunities that follow.
